PTSL Policy Statement

Suppliers of PTSL are required to enter into a Supplier Ethics Commitment agreement that certifies that the following conditions will be met.

 

1. Business Integrity

1.1 Bribery

PTSL and our suppliers will refrain from exerting any influence on the judgment or conduct of individuals in positions of trust or any governmental authority or official through the payment of bribes or kickbacks. This applies to persons in government and private enterprise. PTSL does not permit or allow facilitation payments to government officials or private businesses in order to ensure or expedite routine actions.

1.2 Harassment

PTSL and our suppliers will commit to treating all employees, contractors, customers, business partners, and other stakeholders with utmost dignity and respect. Any form of harassment, including physical, sexual, verbal, or other, is prohibited and may result in disciplinary action, including termination. Examples of Harassment may include, but are not limited to:

• Engaging in verbal or physical abuse towards an individual.
• Unwelcome sexual advances, invitations, or remarks.
• Physical conduct, such as assault or unwelcome touching.

1.3 Bullying

PTSL and our suppliers will ensure that our employees, contractors, customers, and business partners work in a secure and respectful setting that is free from bullying. Bullying is a persistent and inappropriate behaviour, whether direct or indirect, whether verbal, physical, or other, perpetrated by one or more individuals against another individual or others.

Examples of bullying may include, but are not limited to:

  • The dissemination of malicious rumors or gossip.
  • Isolating or excluding someone socially.
  • The act of tampering with an individual’s personal belongings or work equipment.
  • Continually criticizing or demeaning an individual.
  • Unjustly denying leave, training, or promotion.
  • Refusing essential information or knowingly providing incorrect information.

1.4 Social Responsibility

PTSL and our suppliers will recognise that corporate social responsibility extends across the entire supply chain. This includes not only the products and services being supplied, but also the human rights, ethics, and social practices.

One objective of the corporate social responsibility procurement programme is to establish partnerships with like-minded organisations by actively seeking out business partners that are environmentally and workforce-friendly. This includes the following:

  • Responsible Environmental Impact: Engaging in ongoing efforts to mitigate environmental pollution while enhancing sustainability.
  • Forced Labour: All employment on a voluntary basis, without any individuals being subjected to bonded or forced labor. This policy pertains not only to the supplier’s business operations, but also to the supplier network with which the company conducts its business.
  • Child Labour: The company and its suppliers are prohibited from employing persons under the minimum legal working age of the country in which they work.

1.5 Record Keeping

All databases, documents, voice messages, mobile device messages, photos, computer documents and files constitute records. It is the responsibility of all employees to:

  • Only dispose of your records in accordance with the companies records retention and disposal policies.
  • Keep these records and ensure their integrity is safeguarded for the required duration.
  • Maintain official record keeping systems to preserve and archive records required for business, legal, financial, research, or archival purposes.

2. Disclosure of Information

Information regarding participant labour, health and safety, environmental practices, business activities, structure, financial situation, and performance is to be disclosed in accordance with applicable regulations and prevailing industry practices. Falsification of records or misrepresentation of conditions or practices in the supply chain are unacceptable.

3. Intellectual Property

Intellectual property rights are to be respected; transfer of technology and know-how is to be done in a manner that protects intellectual property rights; and customer information is to be safeguarded. Where an NDA is in place, it will take precedence.

4. Fair Business, Advertising, and Competition

Standards of fair business, advertising and competition are to be upheld. Appropriate means to safeguard customer information must be available.

5. Protection of Identity and Non-Retaliation

Programmes that ensure the confidentiality, anonymity and protection of supplier and employee whistleblowers are to be maintained, unless prohibited by law.

6. Responsible Sourcing of Minerals

Suppliers shall have a policy to assure that they do not use any conflict minerals and no human rights are violated throughout the process. Suppliers shall exercise due diligence on the source and chain of custody of these minerals and make their due diligence measures available to customers upon customer request.

7. Privacy

Suppliers are to commit to protecting the reasonable privacy expectations of personal information of everyone they do business with, including suppliers, customers, consumers, and employees. Suppliers are to comply with privacy and information security laws and regulatory requirements when personal information is collected, stored, processed, transmitted, and shared.

Probe Test Solutions Ltd and/or a third party appointed by Probe Test Solutions Ltd and reasonably acceptable to Supplier, shall be entitled (but not obliged) to conduct, at supplier’s premises, audits to verify supplier’s compliance with the Probe Test Solutions Ltd Supplier Ethics Commitment. Any audit may only be conducted upon prior written notice by Probe Test Solutions Ltd, during regular business hours, in accordance with the applicable data protection law and shall neither unreasonably interfere with supplier’s business activities nor violate any of the supplier’s confidentiality agreements with third parties. Supplier shall reasonably cooperate in any audit conducted. Each party shall bear its own expenses in connection with such an audit.
